Recipient Heifer Agreement – Effective September 2025
For Heifers Implanted from September 2025 onwards
Please read the following terms carefully. By proceeding with a booking, you are agreeing to the terms outlined for the purchase of a recipient heifer from Daire Markham Ltd.
Booking and Implantation Process
• Booking of a recipient heifer for frozen embryo transfer must be made a minimum of 7 weeks before the planned implant date.
• Acceptance of bookings is subject to availability.
• When demand for heifers exceeds supply, priority will be given to clients whose embryos were collected or internationally imported under our supervision and received directly by VetEmbryos.
Embryos from other Irish ET providers may be accepted when capacity allows, at the discretion of the company.
Heifer Health and Breed Information
All recipient heifers are:
1. Vaccinated for Leptospirosis and BVD, and tested negative for Neospora
2. Assessed for reproductive soundness following a veterinary check on arrival and again pre- implantation.
3. Fully managed to meet dietary, mineral, and dosing requirements.
Heifer breeds will typically be AAx, HEx, LMx, BBx or SIx, sourced from the dairy herd. While we do our best to facilitate breed preferences where possible, this can only be offered in a very limited capacity. Requests must be made at the time of booking, and fulfilment will depend on current stock levels and timing. No guarantees can be made.
